Putting South African wedding photography on the global map.

We were very excited to be contacted by Matt Adcock who is the owner of the FlashFlavor blog. Matt asked us if he could post some of our work on the FlashFlavor blog and do a little write up about us.

I must admit that it is a great feeling to have your work and efforts recognized by your peers and by other amazing artists like Matt Adcock and David Beckstead .

Here is the write up about our work on the FlashFlavor blog.

Matt and his wife Sol does the most amazing “Trash The Dress” sessions somewhere in the South American jungle.

One day I want to go do a session like that. So if you are a bride and you are game lets set a date !!!!

Some of our work has also been included in the “Inspirational Wedding Photography” group on the Flickr image hosting network. This group is by invitation only.

We would just like to say tank you very much to our wonderful clients that allow us to express our self in such an artistic way and thank you to God our Lord and saviour who has giving us the talents to be able to do what we do.

This is turning out to be a great week here at J & D.

On the down side I have laryngitis and lost my voice. Hope it will be back by Saturday.

Gina Van Wyk - I would LLLOOOVVEEE to volunteer to “trash my dress”. My colleague Sonia Jordaan mentioned this and I am very keen, providing I do not have to cut the dress up, I don’t mind getting the dress wet or dirty….
Hope to hear from you soon.April 17, 2008 – 5:43 pm
