Exciting times at Furi Fine Art Books

As some of you know I am the owner of Furi Fine Art Books. I was not happy with the quality of albums / books available in South Africa as I have a very high standard when it comes to printing and books. We started making our own books 5 years ago. We where one of the first studios to give the book concept as an option. Other photographers saw the quality of our books and asked us to make them books as well. My surname is Fourie, now my American photography friends cannot say Fourie and ended up calling me Mr. Fury. That is how the name “Furi Fine Art Books” was born. Our books are used by photographers around the world.

For years we had our competition trying to copy us, phoning our suppliers and clients to try and figure out how we make our printed covers. Luckily there is one thing they cannot copy and that is our name and determination to produce the best quality products. People can see when you have a Furi Book. It is top quality. In the 5 years we have been making the Fine Art books I am very proud to say that not one book was returned to us as a result of the book failing or bad workmanship.

We got a lot of requests from our photographer clients to come up with a more affordable high quality book, similar to a standard coffee table book. Well I am very happy to say we have done it. Again we will be the first to introduce this into the SA market. We will have some great combo deals like 1 10 x 10 and 2 5 x 5 for 1 low price.

I made a book of the “Trash the dress” sessions we had down in Durban last weekend. The little 5 x 5 are so cute and will be the ideal “Brag Book” for mommy to carry in her handbag to show all her friends. If you are interested in these books please be patient. We will be lunching them in the weeks to come with formal pricing. Here are some images and a video clip that shows you the new High quality Coffee table book.

Please remember you need broadband to watch the video clip.

Jaco Fourie (Kzn) - Hi there

I have the same problem when it comes to foreigners trying to pronounce my name… I wonder why LOL

The other one is when Jaco gets twisted to sound like Yahoo.

Well, great work!
