E-mail from Johan & Nicolene

Got this nice e-mail today.

Du Toit and Hanlie’s e-session.

I had the pleasure of working with Du Toit and Hanlie yesterday shooting their e-session. It is cutting it a bit fine as we are shooting their wedding on Saturday. They are getting married at Intundla Game Lodge and we did the e-session there. Luckily it was not as cold as it is today.

Here is the slide Show and some random images from the session. If you have broadband click on the play button and enjoy.

Werner & Karin’s E-session.

I worked with this lovely couple this weekend. Their wedding is in Feb next year.
I did their e-session at the Union Buildings on Sunday. Luckily it was not as cold as it is today.

Now a lot of people think that the e-session is for the engagement party, but in fact it is more a get to know each other session. I don’t know the couples and they don’t know me. A wedding is stressful enough, you don’t want to worry about the photographers on the wedding day. So we started doing pre shoots to ease the nerves of working with total strangers.

It’s funny to see the couples always start out very shy and have no idea what to do, and then they start loosening up and enjoying it. That is what it should be about ……. fun, fun, fun

A wedding is all about fun so remember that.

I see a lot of photographers are starting to do pre shoots so it must be a good thing. Anyway here are some random images and the slide show from this session. If you have broadband and sound on your PC click on the play button and enjoy the show.

Norman & Ananda wedding day.

We are currently working on this wedding. They got married at the Midrand Conference Centre on 05/05/2007. They are a real sweet couple and have been together for a long time. We had fun and hope they did as well. Here are some random images from their day. Will post the slide show soon when it is done.
